Aryna Sabalenka
Her birthplace was Minsk in Belarus. Her father Sergey (d. in 2019) was an Ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was birthed in Minsk on 5 May 1998. Her 12 WTA singles victories comprise the Grand Slam, the 2023 Australian Open. As a doubles specialist, she also has won both the US Open of 2019 as well as in the Australian Open of 2021 with Elise Mertens. She took home each of in the WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian teammate, and completed the Sunshine Double. Only four teams in women's Doubles were able to achieve. The 23rd of August, 2021 was the day she climbed to the second spot in the singles world ranking her top ranking again in January 2023. When she played doubles, she managed to push her way to the top at the beginning of February that year, following the win in Melbourne becoming thus the second tennis player born in Belarus to achieve success in this particular area. Dmitry Tursunov (a former Russian tennis player) was her coach for a portion of the season in 2019 and from 2018 to the end. Dieter Kindlmann coached her briefly in August of 2020 until September. As of the year 2020's end, she's been trained by her fellow countryman Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams is her role as a model, and she is then Maria Sharapova.
